Fraud Awareness

Course description

This module encourages your learners to explore a stock of real-life scenarios that will leave them with the ability to recognise ‘red flags’ that indicate possible fraud, and develop the practical skills they need to combat it.

After completing this module, your learners will be able to:
- Identify the types of groups involved in fraud (e.g. internal staff and external customers, partners, etc.) and why they do it (greed, lack of controls, etc.)
- Describe the various types of fraud
- Describe the cost of fraud
- Describe the penalties for anyone convicted of fraudulent activity
- Identify the ‘red flags’ that indicate possible fraud
- Describe the measures that are used to combat Fraud
- Describe what to do if you suspect fraud
